"Hello, Superstar!" is HERE - Get ready!

Our registration lottery for Spring 2024 is OPEN! Can you believe we're already on our way to another superstar season? We're excited to see your smiling faces, new and returning, grow this Spring in ways you never thought imaginable. Every season these smiles are made possible by our coaches, volunteers, supporters, and this season: a brand new curriculum!

That's right - Girls on the Run Worcester County is utilizing a new social-emotional learning (SEL) curriculum this season that's better suited to the needs of today's girls. We know the challenges of adolesence that young girls face are changing day by day, and, unfortunately, becoming more intense with the rising standards of social media and turbulent social climate.

That's where Hello, Superstar! comes in. We've built off of Girls on the Run's cornerstone themes of friendship, star power, and community impact, but incorporated additional discussion and reflection about other topics - like body positivity. The National Organization for Women reports that by age thirteen, 53% of American girls are "unhappy with their bodies". Girls on the Run is preventative in that we address these (at times difficult to navigate) concepts in a supportive team setting where girls are free to explore their thoughts and feelings.

We want your GOTR girl on our team this Spring, and for her to foster a respectful relationship with herself and others - it's what she deserves! The season starts the week of March 18th, and you can find a location nearest you here.

Ready to for her to shine? Our registration lottery is open and will run through February 2nd to ensure every girl has a fair shot at participating in our program. Following this period, registration will be on a first-come, first-serve basis. Get ready, Superstars - it's your time to shine!
