Our coaches are the heart of our program and the reason we’re able to serve so many girls across Central Massachusetts. They generously volunteer their time and pour their energy into our participants season after season.
Here’s what our Program Director, Katie Esposito, had to say about our longest-serving coach, Jen Bolt:
"Jen has been with us for 10 seasons, and her dedication has become a shining example of what it looks like to live out the GOTR mission every single day. She has coached at Sherwood Middle, but started her journey at Mountview Middle School back in 2018 with our middle school progam, Heart & Sole.
Jen embodies the heart of this program. Through her dedication, she has created a space where girls feel supported, empowered, and inspired to reach their full potential. She is an Adjustment Counselor who understands the importance of girl only programming.
By showing up consistently, she not only encourages girls to believe in themselves, but also helps shape a culture of empowerment and community at the school. Leaders like her embody the very essence of programs that aim to inspire and support young women. Not only does she coach this program but she enlists the help of many teachers and school staff to continue to uplift these girls season after season. She is the reason why GOTR has such a presence in Shrewsbury.
She has impacted 232 girls over her 10 seasons with GOTR Worcester County!
