We're Ready to Run 🏃‍♀️

Our Coach Training Was a Huge Success — And We’re Ready to Run! 🏃‍♀️💖

Over the last few weekends, our Girls on the Run Worcester County team hosted our Fall Coach Training, and once again, withnessed high energy, inspiration, and connection amongst our volunteer coaches! 🎉

Our volunteers came ready to learn, lead, and lift up the next generation of strong, confident girls — and that’s exactly what they’ll do this season.

💬 What Made This Training So Special?

Mission in Motion: We didn’t just talk about empowerment — we practiced it. Coaches experienced firsthand the power of our curriculum, diving into sample lessons, activities, and reflection strategies they’ll soon bring to life at sites across the county.

Community & Connection: Coaches came from different schools, towns, and backgrounds, but all shared one thing — a heart for this work. Seeing strangers become teammates reminded us why GOTR is truly a community.

Laughter, Learning, and a Few Happy Tears: GOTR magic was in full effect. We laughed. We shared stories. And yes, there were a few joyful, emotional moments that reminded us why we do this.

A Huge Thank You…

To our coaches: we’re so grateful for your time, energy, and commitment to the girls in our community.

As the season begins, we can’t wait to watch these leaders guide their teams through powerful lessons, finish-line moments, and so many smiles in between.

Here’s to an unforgettable season ahead! 🧡
