Staff Spotlight: Cara Dennis

Headshot of GOTR Worcester County Board Member Cara Dennis

Cara has been with GOTR Worcester County since June 2021.  A mission that revolves around amplifying the confidence of young women was what initially pushed Cara to become a board member.

"I felt I had free time to give and I felt a personal connection to the mission and values of GOTR," she says.  "It's a program in which I wish I had access to, and it's my passion to make it accessible to girls in Worcester County."

Cara currently serves as a crucial member of our Governance Board, where she enforces adherence to GOTR's bylaws.  She also acts as a valued member of our 5K committee in our effort to put on the best event possible for all GOTR participants.

When she's not lending her hand to GOTR, Cara works as a senior food scientist at Ken's Foods in Marlboro, where she puts her creativity to work developing new sauces and salad dressings.  In her words, "I play with food all day!"

In her spare time, you can find her hiking, reading, traveling, or exploring the breweries and restaurants in the Worcester area.

We are grateful to have someone has hardworking and passionate as Cara on our team.  We admire her dedication to growing GOTR Worcester County and hope that you'll join us in highlighting her commitment!
